Rain Brings Welcome Storage Boost

  • Little Bass Reservoir Jumps from 54% to 100% Capacity

Rainfall recorded at South Gippsland Water’s storages from the 21st June to 27th June 2014 was 44mm at Lance Creek, 38mm at Ruby Creek, 31mm at Coalition Creek, 47mm at Deep Creek, 34mm at Little Bass and 59mm at Battery Creek.

Philippe du Plessis, Managing Director, South Gippsland Water said today, “The winter break has arrived with rain across all catchments boosting storages. Little Bass has increased by 100ML, going from 54% to 100% full over the last week. Coalition Creek has also had significant inflows of 50ML and now sits at 72% capacity”.
