Poowong: Please Reduce Water Use

There has been a supply interruption to the water main supplying Poowong, with some customers experiencing low water pressure or no water. Nyora’s water system is also fed off this water main, meaning some customers there may also be affected.

South Gippsland Water crews are on site working to repair the main as quickly as possible.

To ensure continuation of supply, please immediately reduce non-essential water use.

Until further advised, please avoid use of washing machines, dishwashers, watering gardens, hosing paths or surfaces, filling pools etc.
