Let’s talk water!

South Gippsland Water submits a Price Submission to the Essential Services Commission (ESC), the economic regulator of the Victorian Water Industry every five years.
Over the past six months, South Gippsland Water has been working on our Price Submission to cover 2023-2028. There has been ongoing engagement with the community to get an understanding of what you value, our services, the environment and options for our future prices.
Our final survey is now open to the community, before we go to the ESC for submission. South Gippsland Water’s Managing Director, Robert Murphy, encourages everyone across our region to get involved and provide feedback.
“I would like to thank everyone who has already taken the time to provide feedback, whether that was through attending one of our workshops, our deliberative panel or completing one of our past surveys. This is all about us working together to find a balance between the prices you pay, the reliability of our services and being sustainable into the future”.
“Please take this final opportunity to let us know if we’ve got it right. We have put together five fact sheets for our Customer Outcomes; Environment, Wastewater, Water, Service and Customer Integrity. Did we hit the mark? Your feedback and comments are invaluable to our submission and the future of our services,” he said.
To have your say, please visit our website www.sgwater.com.au and fill out our five-minute survey.
The survey closes on 11.59pm on Tuesday 16 August 2022.
