Poowong and Nyora customers to reduce non-essential water use

South Gippsland Water is asking that all Poowong and Nyora customers immediately reduce non-essential water use.

There has been a supply interruption to the water main supplying Poowong, with some customers experiencing low water pressure or no water.

Nyora’s water system is also fed off this main, meaning some customers there may also be affected.

South Gippsland Water crews are on site working to repair the main as quickly as possible.

There is a water fountain available at Nyora Primary School.

Until further advised, please avoid:

• use of washing machines & dishwashers
• watering gardens – hosing paths or houses
• filling pools
