Water For Community Events
Portable Drinking Stations
South Gippsland Water has a set of two portable drinking stations that connect to an outdoor or garden tap. There is a bottle refill station and a drinking fountain to provide drinking water to your community or sporting event.
Both units connect together and only require access to a garden tap connected to reticulated water supply. All other required fixtures and fittings are provided with the units.
The units are small enough to fit in the back seat of a sedan, so are extremely portable. Community groups and organisations can borrow the units free of charge. Contact us to check availability and to book. To complete the booking, organisations will need to complete and submit the below booking form to sgwater@sgwater.com.au.
Once booked, the units can be collected from South Gippsland Water’s Office in Foster or our Depots in Wonthaggi & Leongatha. Please nominate a preferred collection/return location in the booking form.

Water Trailer
South Gippsland Water has a small trailer with taps each side that can be used at community events where no access to reticulated water supplies is available. The trailer is booked via completion of the booking form and confirmation that the trailer is available. The trailer will be delivered to the event location and collected by South Gippsland Water staff. This will occur on business days. So please ensure that if your event is on a weekend or public holiday that you have a location where the trailer can be secured (chained to a tree/post/building) and not in a location at high risk of vandals. Please also ensure you provide a phone number for someone to meet during trailer drop off, who can collect the key and any instrctions for the trailer.
