Devon North: Notice of night works

To maintain our water system in Devon North, Yarram and Alberton, South Gippsland Water will be conducting works on Tuesday, 26 July 2022.

We have designed these works to take place overnight when demand for water is at its lowest.

On Tuesday 26 July 2022 we will need to shutdown Devon North’s supply from 11pm to 2am.

While we have taken every precaution to ensure the town will not go without water during these three hours, we cannot guarantee service.

If you’re in Devon North and require town water during this time, we recommend making alternative arrangements such as ensuring tanks or other water storages are filled prior to our shutdown.

Other towns on this line, such as Yarram and Alberton, Port Albert and in the east, along South Gippsland Highway up to Manson’s Road including Buckley’s Idland Road, may also experience low water pressure during this period.

On Wednesday 27 July 2022, the following day, we recommend all residents flush their systems by running the tap for one to two minutes prior to using town water.
