Poster Competition

Our 2022 Poster Competition is now closed.

National Water Week | Primary School Poster Competition

South Gippsland Water marks National Water Week (NWW) each year by running a poster competition for local Primary Schools within our service area. The competition provides a great opportunity for students to put their artistic creativity to the test by creating a colourful A3 poster.

This year, we are inviting our local primary school students to explore their own water stories and individual connection to water. By looking to the past, present and future, we want students to reflect on what WATER means to them.

    • Students – Your story could be of a favourite watering hole, beach to walk along, or a shoreline to surf. Maybe it’s sitting quietly by a river, walking through a rain forest or just drinking that first glass of water in the morning. What ‘springs’ to mind when you hear the word WATER?
    • Teachers – this is a great activity for the classroom in the lead up to National Water Week (17 – 23 October 2022).
    • Parents – this is a fun and engaging activity to do with your child.
