Storage and Rainfall Update
Rainfall recorded at South Gippsland Water’s storages from 14 February 2020 to 21 February 2020 was Lance Creek 38mm, Ruby Creek 30mm, Deep Creek 64mm and Battery Creek 35mm.
The Corporation are monitoring storage systems and river flows. Mr du Plessis said that, “South Gippsland Water Permanent Water Saving Rules are in place across Victoria all year round to assist in water conservation. The top three rules to remember are:
1) Water between 6pm and 10am
2) Sweep, don’t hose – Hosing hard surfaces such as paths and driveways is not permitted
3) Install trigger nozzles – All outdoor hoses are required to be leak free and fitted with trigger nozzles
